Custom Features

+ Elkay "Lustertone®" custom cabinet sinktops and countertops are fabricated of 18 gauge nickel-bearing stainless steel (type 304) bonded to, and reinforced with 14 gauge steel plate and 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8" angle iron.

+ Areas where sink bowls meet drainboards are rounded to sanitary curves.

+ Drainboard, sink bowls, raised rims and backsplash areas are welded, ground and polished smooth to a one-piece, seamless appearance.

+ All corners in sink bowls (horizontal and vertical) are rounded to 1 3/4" radii.

+ Drainboards have large, fan-shaped areas pitched to drain. To incorporate pitch, drainboard must be minimum 15" long.

+ Entire underside of sinktop and bowl is insulated, assuring quieter kitchens.

+ Superior surface finish and satin luster achieved through special hand polishing by master craftsmen.
